Mohammed A. Ali, MD

Mohammed A. Ali, MD

Dr. Ali is from Cleveland, Ohio. He brings a bit of unabashed Northern hospitality to all his patients. Dr. Ali has extensive experience in diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with arthritis, rheumatic diseases and osteoporosis. These health problems affect the joints, muscles, bones and sometimes other internal organs. Dr. Ali Completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in rheumatology at Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals of Cleveland/ Louis Stokes VA Medical Center.  He is part of the American College of Rheumatology and stays up-to-date on the latest autoimmune discoveries. When not striving to keep his patients happy and healthy, he’s enjoys playing cricket and bicycle riding with his family in Land O Lakes Florida.

Karen Berrios Rivera, ARNP

Karen Berrios Rivera, ARNP

Karen earned her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Puerto Rico and completed her Master's degree in the adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Tampa. She is a graduate of Tampa University's master's program, where she was a member of the honors society.  Karen specializes in adult Rheumatology with a focus on chronic autoimmune disease management. She has extensive knowledge of weight loss programs and hormone-related health diseases. She studied a wide range of medical conditions while working with a variety of primary care physicians, geriatrics, and endocrinologists. Karen is knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring. She is bilingual and has extensive clinical experience with bone metabolic disorders including Osteoporosis and adult Rheumatology.

  • An inflammatory disorder causing muscle pain and stiffness, often in the shoulders and hips.

  • An inflammation of the blood vessels that can affect any organ, leading to a variety of symptoms depending on the organs affected.

  • An autoimmune disease characterized by changes in skin, blood vessels, muscles, and internal organs.
